Summer is coming and in order to celebrate this, I will be hosting a deck party on June 19 at 2 pm at my place 140 Sunnyside Drive in Fulford for the members of Daissi and their friends and allies. It is an afternoon outdoor event to get together and visit with your friends. A very low-key, non-alcoholic, lazy afternoon is planned in the spirit of welcoming the summer, celebrating pride and getting ready to relax and enjoy ourselves. I do also suggest bringing a hat and sunscreen as the deck is

not shaded until about 3 pm.

My yard has a very flat access and is suitable for those with mobility issues. Please bring some snacks and non alcoholic drinks and a deck chair if you have an easily portable one. I would ask the more able bodied of you to park on the road leaving the 6 parking spaces near the house for those who are not so actively capable.

If you wish to bring your dog, please keep it leashed or otherwise under control, since I am fond of my garden and do not wish to have to break up major dogfights or replant my flowers and veggies.
